Don’t mess with the seniors, I tell ya’. Here is my favorite review I found this week, about A Green Thumb Landscape Consulting from a feisty Kudzu.com user in San Diego:
Help for an Ole Lady
I am 71 and have had seen my fair share of mow n’ blow gardeners who do nothing and charge everything to us old people. I needed my expensive, water hogging lawn replaced and drought tolerant garden instead with little maintanence and got exactly that without having to sell my gold teeth! No more neighbor dogs using my lawn as a toilet, and I fired my mow n’ blow guys and took that money and going to Vegas! Thanks a heap!

Way to go–there is so much to be said for beign a good custodian of our ever reducing water supplies, plus, it’s good to see California begin to look more likeit did before the massive development of the past many years. I strongly recommend www.calown.com for information on California native plant gardens, low water, year round color, lots of birds and butterflies, AND a bit of reclaiming our regional identity.
